Unable to use Microsoft authentication when invited to an account


We are trying to setup an account with multiple collaborators. With regard to our company’s security policy we only want the members to be able to login with Microsoft authentication. When creating a new account, one has the option to do this with Microsoft login, but when invited to the existing account, the collaborators have to create a basic authentication login. We need collaborators to be able to register with MS auth. Any way to fix this?
