Could someone help me urgently! Thanks in Advance!

Anyone there to help me out! Its really urgent. I am completely stuck!

Hello @rashmita.parida,
automating Google’s apps on Google’s emulator is not possible on SauceLabs.

@rashmita.parida Are you trying to run a mobile website automated test on a mobile Chrome?

Yes Correct! That is what i am trying to do.

In this case, you should record a web test on a desktop browser and then when you execute it select a mobile device from the list of device on SauceLabs. You don’t need to uplaod an APK of a Chrome browser or create mobile tests…

Alternatively, you can have a look at this example if you plan to use our SDK for coding the tests.

Thank you so much for the solution @marat . After recording a web test on my desktop browser and then executing it in mobile device from the list of device on SauceLabs, now browser is getting opened in emulator but website is not opening there. It shows the error : This site can’t be reached.

Could you please explain this to me?

I’ve just checked with our example page https://example.testproject.io/ or https://www.google.com/ and it works fine.

Meaning that it has something to do with DNS and hence you will have to check with SauceLabs why this website is not accessible from their emulators.

You can also execute it locally using your own emulator or try BrowserStack

Thank You so much for your help!
I tried in browser stack trial version and my test got passed, that means https://www.mailinator.com is opening fine in browser stack.
Also I have created a support ticket for Sauce lab. Let’s wait for their reply.

Thanks Again!

@rashmita.parida
Thanks for the update, hopefully SauceLabs address this soon.

Hello @marat,

Sauce labs team mentioned “They don’t allow access to this site because it provides temporary emails and it can be abused by users on their platform.”
Could you please help me to figure out which domain should I use to automate email to get an access to inbox of mail.

Thanks in Advance!

@rashmita.parida Standard mail domains such as Yahoo! or Gmail would not be blocked.
What is your scenario with eMail automation, are you trying to send or read a received email?
You can use https://addons.testproject.io/send-email for sending a emails.

Hello @marat, My requirement is : Email can be sent from the application i am automating but i want to read that received email and should be able to link on the links present in the email body.
Actually I tried Gmail but as part of its security policy it does not allow me to get into the emails directly after passing username and password. Google ask some question to make sure if its a really user but same question does not comes up when I used to record the step. Please look at the attached file.

Thanks!

Hi @rashmita.parida, is auto login to chrome account is something that is relevant for you? you will be able to navigate directly to the tests.

Yes direct login to Gmail will be helpful. Could you please let me know the trick for it.

You can follow this article https://app.intercom.com/a/apps/v5xjsksz/articles/articles/4595207/show

Thanks @guy.saban for your response!
But I can’t access to the link you shared above. Could you please send me the correct url.
I tried to access the above link shared by you by creating a trial account in intercom but that does not help.
