Timeline on AAB support?

We are now delivering our Android app in AAB format. Is there a timeline for AAB support?
In the meantime, is there a workaround/process to install AAB apps?

Hi @james ,
You can follow these steps:

  1. You can use a 3rd party tool to install an AAB file on your device. The tool is called the App Bundle Installer, which is available for download on the Google Play Store.
Note that this is app is still in development.

  2. Once the app is installed you can connect your device to TestProject and create a new application.
In order to create application without the file follow these steps:

  • Connect your device.
  • Create a new application in TestProject.
  • Choose a connect device which the application is installed on.
  • Choose the application from the list.
Now you have AAB application that you can use in TestProject without installing the binary.

  • Alternatively, you can use to add it manually if it is more convenient for you, and if you want to choose another way, you can find your app from the “Device applications” .

Let me know if it helped you, and I’d be happy to help if you have any more questions
