Hello - I am trying to get our tests to run on an EC2 instance. What I need to accomplish is to get the agent running without having to physically remote into the server. What would be the best way to accomplish this? Also, I don’t see the agent in services, so wondering what the agent actually is? Is it a service? Does it kick off a web server? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
The agent is not a service, it runs under a specific account as it needs to spawn browser processes. Drivers can’t do this if the parent process is running as a service.
You can start the Agent using its CLI -
@marat - Thanks, and sorry for the sort of dumb question LOL. I will get a script in place to fire upon spinning up the EC2 instance in order to get the agent running. Thanks for the quick response!!
Sure @jpickering any time
