Recognising messages

Hi!
I’ve got a question. I’m new with this program, but seriously fascinated!
I want to make it test the login function of my application and test, that if no input is entered into the username and password fields, that an error message should appear. How can I specify that the error message should appear?

Hi @zivi.artorg

Nice meeting you! I’m really glad to hear that you liked TestProject
Can you please tell me what application you are testing? Is it web or mobile?

Also, what is the element of this error message?

Kind regards,
Amit

Hi @amit.yahav
I’m testing a web application.
The element is MatSnackBar.

In that case, you need to create a new element for this error message. Once it’s visible, hover with the mouse on this element and click twice on the shoft button. Then, go to attributes, select the attribute that you want to store the element according to, and choose the “Save element” option.

Now that you have saved this element, you can create a new step and choose the action that you want to perform on it.

Let me know if you have more questions

Kind regards,
Amit
