How to upload an attachment as BODY of a REST request

Hello TestProject,

First of all thanks for providing the tester community with such an uber cool framework and this will help many enthusiastic testers to be more efficient in their work.

For past few days, i have been playing with TestProject, i’m trying to create a API test (using REST) where i want to pass the BODY with an attachment instead of writing the body inside the body field or pass via parameter.

could you please help me how i can achieve this?

Hi @kothandapani.rajesh,

Thank you so much for your kind feedback!
We are doing our best to help the automation community

As for your question, I don’t think I fully understand your scenario. You want to send an attachment in your HTTP call, but don’t want it to be in the body section? Where else do you want to include it?
It’s really depends on how the server expects to get the call, what format it requires it to be.
Please elaborate a bit more about your scenario.

Kind regards,
Amit

Sorry for not providing the clear information.

Basically, I’m trying to POST an HTTP request with body as ‘binary’ and an attachment containing a NIST file.

Hope this time it is clear .

Hi @kothandapani.rajesh,

Thank you for providing more information. It is much clearer now
We will have to check this option and get back to you.

Thank you again,
Amit
