Can TPIO be hosted on premise completely?

Hi,

I am new to TPIO so i am not sure if i have asked a question that was much discussed before.
Our company believes this tool is great and is suitable for automating small of our application.

But can this be hosted on premise completely?

Hi @dj80
Here is a few ways TestProject can be hosted

  1. Hybrid cloud: a combination of recording and execution that are being done on-premise by the
agent (installed locally) while saving the configurations and artifacts and reports on the cloud.
  2. Offline mode: recording and execution that are being done on-premise by the agent (installed
locally). artifacts and reports will be saved locally too.

In both cases, the agent requires communication with testproject.io in order to record a test.
In the offline mode, after you have the test artifact locally you no longer need communication with testproject.io and you can execute it completely offline.

If you want a completely on premise solution without connecting to the cloud at all you can use our OpenSDK to develop test and run in offline mode.

Kind regards
Tal
