'Element is not clickable at point' error in selenium

Element is not clickable at point (230, 572). Other element would receive the click.

All i tried to do was click a list item on slider points: http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/slider/events

Code
List<WebElement> sliderItems = driver.findElements(By.xpath("//*[@id='fieldlist']/div[contains(@class, 'k-slider')]/div[contains(@class, 'k-slider-wrap']/ul[contains(@class, 'k-slider-items')/li");
sliderItems.get(0).click();

for some reason it points me to another div to click on

Your element might not be available for clicking yet.

Try doing the click with the actions class instead of an ordinary click:

Code
WebElement element = driver.findElement(By.xpath(".."));
Actions actions = new Actions(driver);
actions.moveToElement(element).click().perform();
