Can I easily move existing tests written in selenium to TestProject SDK?

Hello, I have few scripts that based on selenium and I want to port them to coded test and run them on the TestProject platform.
I noticed that the TestProject SDK is based on selenium and Appium, so I assume that it should be possible.
I would like to know how to get started with it.

Thanks.

Hello,

Indeed you can easily port your tests to run on the platform. All you need to do is to run the following example:

https://github.com/testproject-io/java-sdk-examples/tree/master/Web

You can start with editing the source file:

https://github.com/testproject-io/java-sdk-examples/blob/master/Web/Test/src/main/java/io/testproject/examples/sdk/java/tests/ExtendedTest.java

And insert your code under execute method instead of the original code.

Don't forget to use the report.step(...)  functions that are responsible for logging the steps in the test to the platform.

Read more here:

https://github.com/testproject-io/java-sdk-examples/tree/master/Web

under "Using parameters and step reports in your tests"

of course,  don't forget to clean the code from leftovers.
